The expectant Duchess proved pregnancy did not mean an end to her style-setting agenda.
Her canary Emilia Wickstead coat was topped by a white Jane Corbett headpiece that the thrifty mum-to-be also wore to events last year.
The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh chatted to the assembled special guests, but it was blooming Kate who stole the show.
A source said: “The Duchess looked absolutely stunning, as she always does. She brightened up the whole party with her smile and was happy to chat to everyone.”
The Garden Party is an annual event where Royals and dignitaries mix with special Britons.
Around 8,000 guests were invited including former Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington.
Guest Susan Bradley, a Marie Curie nurse, chatted to the Duchess and said afterwards: “She instantly recognised my uniform and the daffodil in my lapel and told me that she had great admiration for the work the charity does as our staff cared for her own grandfather in his home when he was terminally ill.”
Prince Charles and Camilla also joined the royals for the annual event.
